Jennifer de Jonge researches crafts, materials and human behaviors. By studying the particular position or course of action we all choose on a daily base, Jennifer came to discover that our intuition seems to have a common denominator. She observed how people used each other to lay their head on or sit against each other in parks and festivals and translated these movements into de design for ‘Yana’. As a second home, the construction provides a form of protection, isolation and security, as well as the ability to sit and hang or in the future even lie on.
